OAG Announces CFE Achievement by Deputy Chief Investigator

MAJURO, Republic of the Marshall Islands — The OAG proudly announces that Ms. Lucia Reimers, Deputy Chief Investigator, has successfully earned her Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credentials.

The CFE is a globally recognized professional designation demonstrating expertise in fraud prevention, detection, investigation, and deterrence. To earn the credential, candidates must successfully complete examinations covering four major disciplines of the fraud examination body of knowledge: Fraud Prevention and Deterrence, Financial Transactions and Fraud Schemes, Investigation, and Law.

The OAG congratulates Ms. Reimers on this significant professional achievement and recognizes her commitment to professional excellence and strengthening the OAG’s fraud investigation capabilities.

Under the RMI Audit Act, qualified Marshallese professionals within the OAG who obtain designated professional credentials, including the CFE, are eligible for a 25 percent salary increment on their base salary. This statutory provision supports the Government’s efforts to retain highly qualified professionals and strengthen specialized audit and anti-corruption capabilities within the RMI public sector.

The OAG extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Reimers on this outstanding professional achievement and expresses its appreciation to the RMI Government for providing the support and resources that contributed to making this milestone possible.
